Tickets for Carnival of the Animals are available at the door at the Willamsburg Community Chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
A variety of musical pieces will enchant young audiences with artist, Bob Oller and dancers from Virginia Regional Ballet helping convey the music’s meaning. The program ends with Carnival of the Animals, written over 150 years ago and a children’s classic narrated by Elisabeth Reiss. Each of the music's 14 movements represents a different animal, including a lion, donkey, and elephant, as well as fossils, an aquarium and an aviary. The music is beautiful, funny, and clever all at once. Thank you to generous underwriting by Charles & Milicent Brown Family Foundation, Two Friends of Music, Liz Moore and Associates and the Anderson Financial Advsiory Group of Davenport and Company. All ticketing is General Admission.
